Q2 was a quarter of proof, and it came with a trophy! In June, Wolfpack Digital took Gold for the Digital & Creative Agency Excellence Award at the eir business Chambers Ireland Awards 2026, capping months of work in the Irish market with recognition on one of Ireland's most respected business stages. It landed alongside our 30th Annual Webby Awards Nomination for ROAM-AI, making Q2 the quarter the pack's work was recognised on both sides of the Irish Sea.

The building kept pace with the recognition. This quarter, Wolfpack Digital turned its AI-native way of working into products you can actually try: we launched an AI app cost estimator on our own website, opened our AI-native MVP service that takes a product from idea to live in two to four weeks, and shipped Fyl, an AI meeting companion, for a Dublin partner. In between, the pack crossed the Irish Sea again for a third Breakfast & Insights in Dublin and published a run of deep-dive articles that put our thinking on the record.

Here is everything that happened between April and June.

We built our own AI, on our own site 🤖

The AI Instant Ballpark Estimator

"How much will my app cost?" is the hardest question to answer in a single message, and the one Wolfpack Digital hears most. For years, the answer meant a discovery call, a few days of work, and a written estimate. In Q2 2026, we removed the wait. Wolfpack Digital launched the AI Instant Ballpark Estimator, a conversational AI tool on our website that walks a potential partner through a structured Q&A and returns a ballpark cost breakdown in minutes rather than days.

The Estimator is not a generic calculator. It breaks the number down per platform across the five disciplines that actually drive a project budget, product design, backend, frontend, mobile, and project management, and it is grounded in Wolfpack Digital's delivery data from more than 250 products built since 2015. A generic LLM tells you what an app costs on average; the Estimator tells you what your app would cost with Wolfpack Digital, then hands you to the team that would build it.

It is also a small case study in our own medicine. The tool is conversational, model-driven, and uses streaming UI patterns that were uncommon two years ago, and it was specified, built, and launched by a small team using the same AI-native delivery approach we apply to client work.

As an ISO 27001-certified company, we treat anything entered into the Estimator as confidential by default. If a founder is evaluating partners, the point makes itself: the team you hire to build your AI product should be capable of building one of their own.

Wolfpack Digital's AI Instant Ballpark Estimator page. A headline reads 'AI Instant Ballpark Estimator' with instructions to enter web or mobile app project details for an instant AI-generated estimate, plus a note that starting a conversation means agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and that the estimate is high-level and not final. To the right are decorative icons — a bar chart, a checklist, and a colourful howling wolf illustration with a '$$$' card. Below, a chat window shows the estimator's opening message: 'Hi, I'm Wolfpack Digital's AI Estimator. Let's start with your name! How should I call you?' with a message input field at the bottom.

Project Highlights 📱🖥️

A few of the things the pack shipped and showcased this quarter.

Fyl - an AI meeting companion, built for DisrupSTAR

We launched Fyl, a free mobile app for iOS and Android developed for Dublin-based DisrupSTAR Ltd. Fyl works as a preparation and memory companion for high-stakes conversations, from medical appointments and specialist consultations to performance reviews.

It is designed for people who feel anxious before big conversations, caregivers supporting aging parents, and anyone managing a memory condition or learning difference.

The app records conversations, captures pre-meeting voice memos, generates AI-powered summaries, builds a narrative across related conversations, and lets you share notes in one tap, with full ownership of your data.

Two smartphones on a white background showing a voice-recording app with green branding. The left phone displays a full-screen green splash page with a white feather logo. The right phone shows the app's main screen: a 'Meeting' tab (with a 'Memo' tab beside it), a large green circular record button with the feather logo, and the prompt 'Tap the button to START recording.' A bottom navigation bar shows Record, Summaries, and Settings tabs.

A new AI-native MVP service - idea to live in 2-4 weeks

Q2 also saw Wolfpack Digital formalise one of its biggest shifts into a service. Our AI-native MVP offering takes a product from idea to live in two to four weeks by putting AI into every stage, discovery, design, build, and QA, while a senior expert reviews every output.

The old six-step process collapses into four, working prototypes replace low-fidelity wireframes, and clients walk away owning a live product, a clean GitHub repository, and a growth roadmap.

It comes in three tiers: Lite (5,000 EUR, 2 weeks), Pro (10,000 EUR, 3 weeks), and Complete (15,000 EUR, 4 weeks). The speed comes from a better workflow, not a lower bar, the same engineering standards behind our 2024 Webby for Responsible AI and our 2026 Web Excellence wins.

Vyz AI - a new project out of the den

We also introduced Vyz AI, a new project: an AI-powered image-processing application built for large slab analysis, precision measurement, and visual refinement. It is a neat example of AI applied to a very physical, industrial problem, turning a high-resolution image of a stone slab into precise, usable measurements.

SOARR - AI medical documentation

This quarter we also put SOARR in the spotlight, sharing the story of an AI-powered medical documentation platform built by emergency physicians and refined and improved by Wolfpack Digital.

SOARR captures patient-clinician conversations, transcribes them, and generates structured medical notes for the clinician to review and finalise, cutting documentation time by up to 50% per shift so healthcare teams can spend less time charting and more time with patients.

It is built with anti-hallucination safeguards and a privacy-by-design, enterprise-grade security architecture, spanning a web platform and cross-platform mobile apps.

A medical AI note-taking app shown on a laptop and a smartphone. The laptop displays a 'Process details' screen with a generated medical note for a sample patient, Emily Johnson, including sections for Chief Complaint, History of Present Illness, Physical Examination, Review of Systems, Past Medical History, and Family Medical History, plus 'Refine Note' and 'Copy note' buttons. The smartphone shows the app's recording screen with the prompt 'Pick your recording type and press record — we'll generate the perfect note' above a red 'Start Recording' button.

Behind-the-Pack Peeks 👀

Awards and launches are only half the story.

Behind every product this quarter were the wolves who make the AI-native way actually work, and, as always, they found plenty of reasons to step away from their screens and simply enjoy being a pack.

Our Annual Picnic in the Park

A pack of wolves was spotted in the park. That would be us. We headed out for our annual picnic, families and furry family members included. The kids had their own fun with games, face painting, and plenty of running around, while the rest of us soaked up the sunshine, shared good food and cold drinks, and caught up the way you only can away from the office. We're big believers that the best team moments happen beyond the desks and the screens, and days like this are how we recharge and reconnect.

The Wolfpack Digital team and their families gathered outdoors in a Cluj-Napoca park for a summer get-together, smiling and waving at the camera beneath tall trees.

Happy Mobile Day

We took a moment to howl for our mobile pack, the wolves who turn designs into apps, speak fluent iOS and Android, and ship features that land in real people's pockets. Thank you for building the apps our partners brag about and the ones their users can't put down. Awoo!

Co-CEOs on national TV

Our co-CEOs, Georgina Lupu Florian and Adrian Florian, took Wolfpack Digital's perspective to national television, appearing on "Investim in Romania cu Flori Stoian" to talk about where Romanian software development is heading and about women's leadership in Romanian tech.

Wolfpack Digital featured on B1 TV's 'Investim în România' segment, discussing how an app is developed in 2026.

A Color Run together

The pack also laced up together for a charity Color Run, a colorful, feel-good morning out of the den where the wolves swapped keyboards for running shoes and came back covered head to toe in color. Good cause, good sweat, and a lot of laughs!

Ten years with Florin

This quarter, we celebrated Florin Ionce's 10-year anniversary at Wolfpack Digital, making him one of our longest-standing wolves. Florin has grown alongside the company as one of our most senior developers and someone the whole team can count on, taking on Head of Web, Scrum Master, and PM duties along the way. Thank you for a decade of energy and enthusiasm, Florin. We can't wait to see what comes next!

Community Involvement 🤲

Breakfast & Insights returns to Dublin - The Ivy, 25 May

On Monday, 25 May 2026, founders and decision-makers gathered at The Ivy Dublin for our third Breakfast & Insights session, built around one question: how do you choose a software development partner you can trust? The panel brought together Sinead Byrne (CEO & Founder, Prospera), Maria Gallo (Strategic Projects Manager, Trinity Business School), Brian Lavery (non-executive director and fractional executive), and Cristian Virciu (Head of Product Design, Wolfpack Digital), with Valentin Trif, Head of Business Development, moderating.

A private panel with Cluj Startups

Back in Cluj-Napoca, the pack hosted a private panel and networking evening with Cluj Startups on the premise that when you can ship in days what used to take months, the real work moves downstream: which features earn their place and how to read what users actually do rather than what they say. On the panel, Vica Cotoarba, Head of Mobile at Wolfpack Digital, was joined by Radu Bendic (entrepreneur and co-founder of Calmly, building in the mental-health space) and Calin Sipos (founder of Embark 4 Tech, business consultant, Cluj Startups programs lead, and angel investor).

Two days at Techsylvania

We spent two days at Techsylvania, alongside more than 3,000 people from over 30 countries at Cluj Innovation Park. The agenda leaned heavily on AI and product, which matches where most of our own conversations with founders are heading right now, so there was plenty to take away from the stage. We also sponsored the Mindful Corner, a quiet space organised by Laura Calmore where people could sit down and reset between sessions, a welcome spot in a conference that runs at full volume for two days straight.

Four wolves loose in Malta - EU-Startups Summit

Four wolves headed to Valletta for the EU-Startups Summit. Gabriel Olariu, Valentin Trif,Georgina Lupu Florian, and Adrian Florian spent two days in conversations with founders building in healthtech, fintech, spacetech, sustainability, and energy, the kind of long-term bets Europe needs more of.

They met brilliant operators tackling real-world challenges and came away with a sharper picture of where the next wave of category-defining European startups will come from. The trip also carried a proud moment for the pack, with Founder & co-CEO Georgina Lupu Florian recognised at the Global Startup Awards held during the summit (more on that below).

Mentoring a winning team at the TEDIHT Hackathon

Our CTO, Andi Nicolescu, mentored a team of students from Babes-Bolyai University, Brigitte Mranovatz, Ioana Nitan, and Anabela Leat, at the TEDIHT Hackathon, and they took first place. They tackled a real problem: public-administration staff lose hours searching for answers buried in internal procedures, and in two months built a working prototype with an AI and RAG chatbot, automated ticketing, and an analytics module for management.

If there's one thing the pack brings to the table, it's problem-solving backed by deep technical expertise. The tools change, but the instinct doesn't: look at a hard, real-world problem and figure out how to build the right thing for it.

The screen behind them reads 'HACKATHON — Soluții pentru digitalizarea sectorului public' (Solutions for digitalising the public sector) and displays an EU co-funding logo alongside event photos

Back with Academia dpIT

Wolfpack Digital returned to Academia dpIT, continuing its long-running commitment to mentoring young talent and guiding students through building real products, part of how the pack has worked for years. This year, Anca Hangea, Product Manager, and Oana Iștoc, Web Developer, are mentoring the team.

Wolfpack Digital hosts the kick-off session for the DpiT Program, welcoming the participants at its Cluj-Napoca office.

The Developers conference - Cluj Business Tech Landscape panel

On 10 June, Gina Lupu Florian, Founder and Co-CEO of Wolfpack Digital, joined the experts panel on the Cluj business-tech landscape at The Developers conference in Cluj-Napoca, digging into how AI is moving faster than the curricula and job descriptions meant to keep up with it.

Bronze sponsor at JSHeroes

The pack also backed one of the region's marquee gatherings for JavaScript developers, joining JSHeroes in Cluj-Napoca as a bronze sponsor. It kept Wolfpack Digital close to the engineering community we're part of, and to the conversations and people shaping where front-end and product work are heading.

Going Forward 🐾

Q2 2026 was the quarter Wolfpack Digital won in Ireland. A trophy at the eir business Chambers Ireland Awards and a Webby nomination for ROAM-AI sat next to an AI cost estimator on our own site, and an MVP service that gets founders live in weeks. Add a fun morning at The Ivy in Dublin and a stack of articles putting our thinking on the record, and it adds up to a quarter of recognition earned and momentum built.

Thank you to every partner, panelist, and community member who built alongside us! Into the second half of the year we go, same pack, same standards, faster than ever.
