Q4/2022 Wrap-up: Another powerful year together

Here we are, with the last quarterly wrap-up of 2022, a rewarding and beautiful year for us! We enjoyed many face-to-face events (with a hybrid setup too) and had diverse, captivating projects to work on. Let's get into the details of the last quarter. 👇

Projects We Helped Develop 🧑‍💻

Our mission is to develop powerful web and mobile apps, start to end. Here are some of the projects we added to our portfolio in Q4:

• BrainCapture brings accessible EEG scans to low-resource settings through a mobile app that connects via Bluetooth to an amplifier and EEG cap.
• Citizen Mint offers access to impactful investment opportunities that solve some of the planet's biggest challenges.
• Extra Karte is a mobile app for Extra Karte credit card owners to control their card, transactions, and account details.
• ReActive is a prescription digital therapeutic app using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles to help people with overactive bladder.

Alongside these, we continued to work on health tech projects with IoT components, fintech projects, beauty projects, and many more.

Hosting Events at Our Den 🏡

During Q4, we opened our doors for two open events:

• Hacktoberfest '22, powered by Wolfpack Digital. Developers from Cluj-Napoca joined our wolves to contribute to open-source shell, Ruby, and Rails scripts for benchmarking machines.
• Lean Coffee. An informal meeting where participants set the agenda as they go, covering lean/agile development, project management, leadership, and business.

Superheroes Halloween 🦸

Halloween is one of our favorite traditions, and for 2022 we made it a themed edition. Everyone dressed as superheroes for our traditional Spooky Standup, and we even had a Costume Contest to award the best of the best.

Entering the Festive Season 🎄

December was all about festive activities! We decorated our office Christmas tree in early December with mulled wine and carols in the background.

We always keep in mind those less fortunate. We brought moments of happiness to children from two foster homes in Cluj-Napoca, "Casuta Bucuriei" and "Casa Grigorescu," with special gifts from our team.

We also set up a space in our office where everyone could donate old garments, which we gave to disadvantaged families — a sustainability-focused action, especially as the festive season generates a lot of shopping and waste.

Christmas Dinner is a tradition for us. L'Alchimiste, a vibrant venue in the heart of Cluj-Napoca, hosted the event. We enjoyed engaging activities between delicious meals, gifts from the Wolf-Santa, and plenty of time on the dancefloor — the wolves really do know how to party.

An Inspiring Community 💫

A lot of our inspiration comes from our community, and we never miss a chance to attend or speak at events:

• HIVE Innovation — Gina was a juror in the Global Startup Cities eHealth Program.
• Global DevSlam at Dubai World Trade Center — Gina and Adi awarded winning teams from the Metaverse Masters and FutureHack hackathons; Adi also mentored, and Wolfpack Digital rewarded top teams with a Product Discovery and Design Workshop.
• Women in Tech Cluj & TUC-N meetup — Gina moderated the "Growth Mindset" panel.
• CSInnoHub meeting — Gina and Cristi, our Head of UX/UI Design, participated at the Babeș-Bolyai University event.
• IT Days — Wolfpack Digital was a Bronze sponsor. Gina spoke on a panel moderated by Mike Butcher (TechCrunch), and Dan Ilies presented "Crossroads for mobile apps: Imperative and Declarative UI."

• Student Entrepreneurial Society from TUC-N — Gina was a Demo Day juror and held a Team and Time Management workshop.
• Innovation Labs 10th Anniversary Gala — Victor and Andi represented Wolfpack Digital, longtime supporters of the program.
• CSInno Hack — Cristi mentored and judged the teams.
• Women in Tech Cluj Christmas Networking & Fundraising — Gina moderated the meetup.
• How to Startup — Adi, our CTO, spoke at this BEST Cluj-Napoca event.
