Part of the Pack for 3 Years: What a Journey

You never know what to expect when joining a new company/team - did you make the right choice? Will you fit? Will your work be meaningful? Will it have an impact? Even more, will you maybe make a friend or two? Well, I guess I got lucky, and I can answer with an honest yes to all of the above, yey. 🤩🐺

My name is Ioana, and I am the pack’s Office Manager. 👋🏻

I make sure the office space stays functional and dynamic, I deal with all kinds of queries, manage budgets, plan company events,  and a few more exciting activities. 🤓
All these bring me joy, learning opportunities, and the chance to be a valuable member of a great team of professionals who aim to be the best at building complex solutions that solve real problems. 

July 2022 was the month I celebrated my 3rd work anniversary, and it was an emotional moment for me. I got the chance to look back and remind myself of the journey I had,  think of how this is the organization that most resembles my personal values, and what crossed my mind was this: I can’t believe how lucky I am to be part of the pack. ✨

I want to share with you what I think are the most significant milestones throughout these 3 years. 👇🏻

One of them is definitely my first company-wide event planned for the team. It was the 2019’s Christmas Dinner, I was so excited about getting everything ready, had wrapped 40 presents for each colleague, and was ready to welcome everybody at the event’s location. We had an amazing time, found out at the end of the night we were going to visit Rome for the company’s 5th anniversary 🎉, and that’s when I knew it was going to be an amazing journey for me at Wolfpack Digital. 🤟🏻

Another one that had a big impact on me was the day we switched offices and moved ‘further down the block’ haha. It was great seeing part of the team unite in a different way than usual and help shape a cozy space for us to spend each working day. We gained more than an office that day where we had some amazing events and shared great moments together, and we are looking forward to many more. 🏡💛

Last but not least, it was the most epic party of Wolfpack Digital, the legendary Wolfest of 2020, hosted in our backyard. It was the perfect opportunity to get creative and work with open-minded and forward-thinking people, and I loved how it all shaped out. 🤟🏻🐺

My journey throughout these years has seen many changes in the organization, and each time, these have been for the better. But what’s been most impactful to me is the sense of community, mindfulness, and enthusiasm that made me bring my whole self to work each day. 🫶🐺
