Academia is an e-learning platform for sports professionals created by the Romanian Football Federation to deliver international educational programs with FIFA and UEFA partners.
The Romanian Football Federation aimed to launch a platform for football management courses and international educational programs with partners from FIFA and UEFA to educate players, coaches, and referees but also for people from outside the pitch, such as managers, specialists, or parents.
The solution proposed was to transform the National Football Academy into the most important provider of educational programs in sports in Romania, offering an organizational model for Romanian sports. We've designed a learning platform focusing on user experience and accessibility while considering scalability and high traffic. The learning platform is available via a web browser and allows teachers to create actionable video lessons and a student interface to encourage educational collaboration and communication.
