Senior Software Engineer

At this level you're an autonomous contributor on a cross-functional team — technology-agnostic, working across whatever stack a project needs, using AI tooling daily to move faster while keeping quality high. You own most tasks end to end, consult seniors on the highest-complexity work, mentor juniors, and bring a product and client perspective.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, clean, and testable code, working technology-agnostically across web and/or mobile as projects require.
- Design sound architectures that balance quality against time-to-ship while meeting acceptance criteria.
- Integrate relational and non-relational databases (we mainly use PostgreSQL) and third-party APIs, and work comfortably with DevOps essentials like Docker containers and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, using AI for edge cases and coverage.
- Use AI tools daily, reviewing every output for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability before merging.
- Take an active part in code review and give clear estimates for complex functionality.
- Bring a product and client perspective — flag UX issues, propose better solutions, and increasingly handle requirements, updates, and demos directly.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Senior Software Engineer at Wolfpack
- 6+ years in software development, working autonomously on complex, ambiguous tasks and mentoring juniors.
- Advanced grasp of OOP and clean, scalable architecture, with strong full-stack capability — a modern JavaScript front-end (responsive, accessible UI, state and data management) and back-end (REST APIs, databases, integrations, CI/CD, Git).
- Strong command of at least one modern web and/or mobile stack, and the ability to pick up others as projects require (technology-agnostic).
- Advanced debugging and solid unit/integration testing, with a good sense for when to refactor.
- Comfortable with DevOps essentials — Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure); serverless, Kubernetes, service meshes, or tracing tools are a plus.
- Daily, fluent use of AI development tools — knowing when to trust the output and when to intervene, and reviewing for correctness, security, and maintainability before merging.
- Independent client communication and applied product thinking: framing progress in business terms, managing scope, surfacing hidden requirements, and connecting work to product metrics, usability, and accessibility.
