Full-Stack Web Engineer
We're putting together a team of three full-stack product engineers for one of our clients, all with the same profile: engineers who own a feature from the database to the UI and care whether it moves the product forward. You'll work in TypeScript across React, GraphQL and PostgreSQL, ship on AWS, and use PostHog and Mixpanel to decide what to build next and to check that it worked. Experience with Temporal is a massive plus.
- Own features end to end in TypeScript, from the PostgreSQL schema and the GraphQL API to the React UI.
- Work as a product engineer: understand the user problem, shape the solution with product and design, and ship in small, measurable steps.
- Instrument what you build in PostHog and Mixpanel, read the data, and use it to decide what to improve next.
- Design GraphQL schemas and PostgreSQL data models that stay fast and easy to change.
- Build reliable back-end workflows and integrations on AWS, using Temporal for long-running and retryable processes.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and take an active part in code review.
- Use AI tools daily, reviewing every output for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability before merging.
- Work directly with the client's team: clarify requirements, give clear estimates, and demo what you've shipped.

- 5+ years of professional software development, most of it building web products full-stack in TypeScript.
- Strong React on the front end: state and data management, responsive and accessible UI.
- Solid GraphQL experience, designing schemas and resolvers, not only consuming them.
- Comfortable with PostgreSQL: data modelling, migrations, and query performance.
- Experience shipping and running services on AWS, with CI/CD and Git workflows.
- Hands-on product analytics: you've set up events, funnels, or experiments in PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar, and used them to make decisions.
- A product mindset: you care about why a feature exists and whether it worked, not only how it's built.
- Daily, fluent use of AI development tools, knowing when to trust the output and when to intervene.
- Clear, independent communication in English with clients and teammates.
- Experience with Temporal (or another workflow orchestration engine) is a massive plus.
