wrap up

Between sunny escapes and energized landings, our pack kept its focus sharp and the energy high. 🐺 Summer gave us room to recharge and reconnect while still maintaining momentum — one launch, one getaway, and one win at a time.

Speaking of wins, we were proud to be named Finalists at the Irish Digital Media Awards in three categories: Best App, Best Tech & Innovation (with our partners at Corrib Oil), and Best Agency — a nod to our team's hard work and the strong partnerships we build. Ready to see what we were up to this summer? 🏖️👇

Project Highlights 📱

Here are a couple of projects our team proudly worked on during the past quarter:

Recordio

Recordio helps people capture life's moments with ease. Launched during Q3, this beautifully simple mobile app transforms everyday photos and videos into music-backed video albums, blending smart automation with just enough creative control. We worked closely with the Recordio team to deliver a product all about speed, simplicity, and joy — no editing skills required. Built in the Wolf Den and now available on the App Store and Google Play.

Roam ESP

We launched a redesigned web application for one of our partner's clients in the oil & gas industry, focused on smarter, more efficient operations. We led the platform redesign and delivered a sleek new front-end to support the ESP system — an AI-driven edge solution that optimizes oil production by dynamically adjusting pump operations through a phased approach. The result: a smarter interface, real-time adaptability, and a major step forward for a traditionally complex sector.

3D2Cut

In August, we wrapped development and entered closed beta for a native iOS app designed as a training companion for professional vineyard pruners. The app helps pruners practice techniques based on their course materials, perfecting their skills virtually before the pruning season begins. A web platform is also in the works, with both set to launch at a specialised industry event in November.

🐺 Summer Internship in the Wolf Den

Our internship program unfolded in Q3, and we couldn't be prouder of the curious, motivated group that joined us. They dove into real projects, learned by doing, and even joined our summer party. Two of our interns became full-time members of the Wolfpack as of October. Welcome to the pack!

A Big Win for Orbis in Athens 🏛️

Orbis, the team of high schoolers we mentored through the Descoperă-ți pasiunea în IT program alongside our own Cristian Virciu, traveled to Athens for Gen-E 2025, Europe's top youth entrepreneurship festival. We celebrated as they received the Johnson & Johnson Brilliant STEM Innovation Award! Their app helps users reduce their carbon footprint by turning eco-friendly choices into a greener virtual planet. Read more in our Orbis mentorship story. We also worked with a new generation of DPIT students, guided by mentors Orsolya Bardi, Daria Dorog, and Răzvan Ciuban.

How to Build a Business in IT?

In July, we joined an inspiring panel on the Hacking Work podcast about "How to build a business in IT?" Our founder and co-CEO, Gina Lupu Florian, sat down with Albert Zemba (BitStone Capital) and Cris Pop (The Thunder), moderated by Doru Șupeală. They explored the future of the Cluj IT scene, the growing role of AI, and how startups can differentiate in a crowded market.

Chatting with the Future - Live from Cluj

Chatting with the Future landed in Cluj, and we co-hosted the local meetup with our friends at PROW Conference. Our Product Manager, Adrian Cristian, joined a panel with Bogdan Cirjoi and Mihai Anton, moderated by Mike Dolha, to explore how AI is shaping communication — and when not to use it. His advice: start small, test smart, and scale only when AI truly brings value.

🧠 Victor Took the Stage at Friendly.rb

This September, Victor Motogna, our Head of Web Development, spoke at Friendly.rb in Bucharest, a Ruby-focused conference. He shared how lessons from multiplayer game development can improve web development workflows. He returned with one big insight: "There's a Ruby Renaissance happening."

Product Meetup: Speaking the Same Language 💬

We hosted "Speaking the Same Language," a product meetup bringing together minds from product, design, business, and development. What began as a presentation turned into a lively exchange of stories and clever ways to decode team "dialects" — a refreshing reminder that good collaboration is about listening.

🇮🇪 Bringing the Startup Mindset to the Table

We wrapped up the season with a sunny morning in Dublin, hosting a Breakfast & Insights event on "The Startup Mindset in Digital Transformation." Together with entrepreneurs and business leaders, we explored how established companies can think and move like startups. Thanks to Damian Burke for sharing Corrib Oil's transformation story, and to Dave Kearney, Maura McAdam, and our co-CEO Adrian Florian for their insights.
