Q1/2026
webby nominees
tech products

Q1 closed with momentum on every front. The pack marked its 11th anniversary, picked up a Webby Awards Nomination for ROAM-AI, took home two Web Excellence Awards for 3D2Cut and LoadHub, and saw our Founder & Co-CEO Georgina Lupu Florian named Regional Winner — Eastern Europe for Diversity Role Model of the Year at the Global Startup Awards, advancing her to the global finals in Malta. Alongside the recognition, the pack shipped new product releases, hosted community events across Cluj and Dublin, and showed up at hackathons, panels, and conferences as mentors, judges, and speakers. A strong opening to 2026, and a foundation for what's coming next.

Here's everything that happened and two ways you can help us close the chapter on a high note:

Project Highlights

Fresh out of the den: a few of the projects we shipped, evolved, and added to our website this quarter. 👇

3D2Cut — Android release

Following the Web Excellence Award win in the Apps & Mobile (Education) category, 3D2Cut expanded its reach this quarter with the release of its Android app. Built by Wolfpack Digital, 3D2Cut is an AI-powered mobile application that helps vineyard workers learn and practice vine pruning through guided courses, interactive simulations, and immediate feedback, a mobile-first experience designed for real agricultural use. The Android release brings the same training experience to a much wider base of vineyard teams.

Silo monitoring platform for LVLogics

We partnered with LVLogics to develop a web-based platform that turns IoT sensor data into clear, actionable insights for industrial and agricultural teams. The platform connects directly to silo sensors, visualises fill levels and consumption trends, and uses predictive calculations to help teams anticipate material runout before it becomes a problem. Alerts, configurable parameters, and historical analysis support smarter planning and reduced downtime, without adding operational complexity. A practical example of how IoT software development, predictive analytics, and web application design come together to support day-to-day decision-making in industrial environments.

Lizzy AI — AI-powered interview screening platform

We also added Lizzy AI to our portfolio this quarter, a web-based interview screening platform where candidates complete first-round interviews through an AI-powered avatar. The challenge was to turn an AI-led screening concept into a reliable product that could support real hiring scenarios, combining real-time AI interviews, visual interaction through a 3D avatar, and structured evaluation in one platform. The solution lets recruiters manage interviews while generating live transcripts and structured evaluation results, helping hiring teams review candidates faster and keep screening consistent across roles.

Behind-the-Pack Peeks

11 years of Wolfpack Digital

On January 19, the pack marked 11 years since Georgina Lupu Florian founded Wolfpack Digital in Cluj. We gathered for a brunch to celebrate, 11 being a number that reminds us of competitiveness and performance, but also of partnership and teamwork.

Delivery Day

Q1 also gave us a chance to celebrate our Product team, the wolves who turn strategy into reality and make sure every project lands exactly where it needs to. Delivery Day is our way of recognizing the dedication and sharp thinking that bring our partners' visions to life.

International Women's Day at Wolfpack

For International Women's Day, the she-wolves came together for a makeup workshop with makeup artist Flavia Silaghi, walking through beauty hacks, tailored insights, and product recommendations for every skin type and style. Add good food, relaxed conversations, and plenty of laughs, and it turned into a lovely way to celebrate the women of the pack!

Wolfpack Digital also marked March 8 with "She's not too much. She's wild.", a campaign reclaiming the word wild as a compliment rather than a warning, with the women of the pack redefining the word in their own terms.

Welcoming Oana Mărcuș to the den

We welcomed Oana Mărcuș, psychologist, Imago couples therapist, speaker, and PhD in psychology with 14+ years of experience, for a session on emotional well-being at work. The conversation explored how the rapid evolution of AI is changing the way we work and the stress that can come with it: the uncertainty, the pressure to keep up, the questions about what our roles will look like tomorrow. Building great tech also means taking care of the humans behind it.

Community Involvement

Georgina Lupu Florian at TEDxCluj

Our co-CEO Georgina Lupu Florian took the TEDxCluj stage with a 14-minute talk titled "RE/Framing Technology", a conversation about how to make sure AI and the tech revolution serve people, not the other way around. In her talk, she explored three pillars of conscious leadership in an AI-powered world: learning through an antifragile mindset that turns failure into fuel, pursuing truth beyond opinions, and taking responsibility for the impact we create across our entire ecosystem.

Innovation Labs: from IdeaJam to the Bucharest finals

The pack showed up at every stage of Innovation Labs this quarter.

On March 5, Victor Motogna, Head of Web Development at Wolfpack Digital, was a juror at Innovation Labs IdeaJam Cluj, where 25 student teams pitched their ideas. On March 7–8, Victor was back at the Innovation Labs AI Hackathon, wearing two hats: mentor and judge. The 3 winning teams earned a direct spot at the Innovation Labs Hackathon in Bucharest.

A few weeks later, Cristian Vîrciu, Head of Product Design, and Răzvan Ciuban, Product Designer, were part of the jury that helped evaluate 120+ teams at Innovation Labs. Out of those, 41 teams made it into the mentoring program.

GDGoCode Hackathon — Bronze Sponsor

Wolfpack Digital was a Bronze Sponsor of the GDGoCode 2026 Hackathon, a 3-day event powered by Google Developer Group on Campus, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Victor Motogna delivered a presentation on UX/UI prototyping on Friday, then mentored teams on Saturday. Andi Nicolescu, our CTO, stepped in as a judge to evaluate the final projects.

Launching the Tech Leadership Circle by Wolfpack Digital

This quarter, Wolfpack Digital launched the Tech Leadership Circle, a new open community for tech and product leaders navigating real leadership challenges inside growing organisations. In Cluj, many leaders carry different titles (Head of, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, Product Lead, Design Lead) yet face remarkably similar questions: building strong teams, hiring well, managing change, aligning with business and partners, making strategic decisions under pressure, and integrating AI responsibly without disrupting culture. The Tech Leadership Circle was created to make space for those conversations, exploring themes like strategy, change management, modern tech leadership, and why building a strong leadership community actually matters.

The first event, "The New Leadership Playbook: Growth, AI & Ambiguity," was hosted at our Events Space in Cluj-Napoca by Victor Motogna, Head of Web Development at Wolfpack Digital, bringing his hands-on experience building AI-powered products and leading engineering teams through constant technological change. The conversation focused on what leadership looks like now: making decisions when the path isn't obvious, integrating AI responsibly, and guiding teams and partners through change.

Hosting "Breakfast & Insights" in Dublin

In Dublin, the pack hosted a new edition of Breakfast & Insights, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, and changemakers around one big topic: how to build products investors say yes to. It was a practical discussion about funding-ready product thinking, real investor signals, and what makes early-stage products credible, with panellists Sinead Byrne, Majella Murphy, Ronan McGrane, Ultan Sharkey, and Adrian Florian. The conversation was moderated by Valentin Trif, with Gabriel Olariu welcoming everyone in!

Techpreneurs Dublin - founder panel on MVP building

Adrian Florian, Co-CEO at Wolfpack Digital, joined a founder-focused Techpreneurs Dublin panel on what MVP building really looks like today. The conversation focused on the reality behind no-code and AI-assisted tools: how they change early product building, where "shipping fast" gets mistaken for validation, and how technical debt or false confidence can creep in early. Adrian was joined by Jamie A. Fitzgerald and Padraic Kinsella, with the discussion moderated by Diarmuid Ó Muirgheasa.

Anca Hangea on the "Kids or Career?" panel at Hacking Work

On February 18, Anca Hangea, Product Manager at Wolfpack Digital, joined the "Kids or Career?" panel at the Hacking Work Conferences in Cluj. At Wolfpack Digital, we believe you shouldn't have to choose between being a great parent and doing great work.

Vica Cotoarba at Claim AI Lisbon

On February 25–26, Vica Cotoarba, Head of Mobile at Wolfpack Digital, attended Claim AI 2026 in Lisbon, a conference on the future of marketplaces. One insight in particular caught the pack's attention: 51% of web traffic in 2025 was bots, and by 2028, most of a site's visitors may not be human. AI agents will browse, compare, and act on behalf of people. The takeaway: when the customer evolves, the product strategy needs to keep pace.

Supporting Give(a)Go in Dublin

Wolfpack Digital deepened its support of Give(a)Go, a Dublin-based tech community built around learning by building. In Q1, we supported their events, such as the Women Who Build event on March 14 (a hands-on day powered by Lovable, celebrating Women in Tech with everyone welcome) and the Give(a)Go Builder Day, focused on browser-based agents and what becomes possible when the web itself turns into the interface for automation. Far more people wanted to take part than there were seats, with builders travelling from across Ireland to spend the day working side by side.

Gina, on stage and on air

It was a packed quarter for Georgina Lupu Florian on the speaking circuit! She spoke at Women in Tech Cluj on the topic of "Highly Sensitive Woman Leaders," joined the Leadership Summit Cluj, gave a talk at Daring Tuesday #1, and joined the "Ask Me Anything" panel at Go Green by Civitas, hosted by Smaranda Ignat at Zbor Hub Cluj, a thoughtful conversation on entrepreneurship, growth, uncertainty, and the things you don't always see from the outside, plus the community behind Women in Tech Cluj.

On the interview side, Gina joined the Evolution Exchange Nordics Podcast for a panel conversation on women in tech, alongside Anca Iordanescu (VP of Engineering at IKEA Retail) and Steliana Moraru (Head of Growth at TotalSoft), hosted by Alvin Boampong. She was also interviewed by TVR on being named Diversity Role Model at the Global Startup Awards.

Awards & Shoutouts

Webby Awards Nominee — ROAM-AI

On March 31, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences announced the Nominees for the 30th Annual Webby Awards, and Wolfpack Digital made the list. ROAM-AI was nominated in the Data Visualization & Reporting category under AI Experiences & Applications, alongside names like Aily Labs, Hook, FRnD, and Monks. The Webby Awards received more than 13,000 entries from over 70 countries this year, with fewer than 17% selected as Nominees. The People's Voice vote is open through April 16 at https://vote.webbyawards.com/PublicVoting#/2026/ai/ai-experiences-applications/data-visualization-reporting.

Web Excellence Awards — 3D2Cut & LoadHub

Wolfpack Digital was named a winner at the Web Excellence Awards for two of our products: 3D2Cut in the Apps & Mobile — Education category, and LoadHub in the Website — Transportation category. The two products were recognized among 1,400+ international entries for clarity, usability, and real-world impact. With 3D2Cut, that meant translating a physical, manual craft like professional vine pruning into a simulation-based learning experience. With LoadHub, it meant turning Romania's evolving e-Transport regulations into a single operational platform that transport teams can rely on daily.

Diversity Role Model of the Year — Eastern Europe (Global Startup Awards)

Our Founder & Co-CEO, Georgina Lupu Florian, was named Regional Winner — Eastern Europe for Diversity Role Model of the Year at the Global Startup Awards, advancing to the global finals in Malta. The recognition celebrates leaders who actively empower women and underrepresented groups to become founders, leaders, investors, and professionals — strengthening the startup ecosystem locally and internationally. The People's Choice vote at the global level is open now: vote for Gina at here: https://competition-system.globalstartupawards.com/editions/57/categories/592/vote

ESG Awards 2026 — finalist

Wolfpack Digital was named a finalist at the ESG Awards 2026 in the Employee Well-Being category.

Product Leader of 2025 finalist — Alexandra Retegan

Alexandra Retegan, our Head of Product, was confirmed as a finalist for Product Leader of 2025 at Product Weekend! From the first idea to launch, Alexandra brings clarity, structure, and a genuine human touch to every product she guides at Wolfpack Digital.

Partner shoutouts

We received two public shoutouts this quarter:

Jonathan Sousa, Director of Engineering at Poply, shared a review about our partnership building Poply, a digital invitation app that helps people create stylish, eco-friendly invites for any occasion and send them instantly via text or email. His words: "I've contracted with many agencies in my career, and Wolfpack Digital is simply the best of that bunch."

David Carr, CEO of Glimpse, shared a Clutch review of our ongoing work building Glimpse's iOS product: "They have the technical capabilities to execute, but I've especially appreciated their people and company culture."

Thank you for the trust! 💛

Insights & Knowledge Sharing

A few brain snacks from the past few months, straight from our wolves.

8 Trends Shaping Digital Product Development in 2026

A look at how digital products are evolving in 2026, covering specialized and AI-native systems, accessibility-first design, scalable architectures, IoT-enabled experiences, sustainability-driven decisions, mobile-first media consumption, and the growing role of fintech and regtech in regulated environments.

How AI helps you launch an MVP faster

In this article, Georgina Lupu Florian, Founder & Co-CEO at Wolfpack Digital, shares how AI can compress every stage of MVP development — from analysis and prototyping to development, testing, and internal coordination — but only when used with discipline and a clear product strategy. Moving quickly without a plan just leads to scattered effort and higher costs.

Designing healthcare software with privacy-by-design

Cristian Vîrciu, Head of Product Design at Wolfpack Digital, explains why privacy-by-design is a product strategy decision as much as a technical one. Instead of building features first and layering on privacy controls later, you design systems that minimize data exposure, enforce access controls, and provide transparency by default.

Going forward

As Q1/2026 comes to a close, we're taking with us everything this quarter stood for: 11 years of building, two Web Excellence Award–winning products, a Webby nomination for ROAM-AI, the launch of our new Tech Leadership Circle community, fresh project releases, and a packed calendar of moments that brought the pack closer together, from hackathon judging and mentorship, to Breakfast & Insights in Dublin, to celebrating the women of the pack on International Women's Day.

Q1 also brought recognition we don't take lightly: Georgina Lupu Florian named Regional Winner — Eastern Europe for Diversity Role Model of the Year at the Global Startup Awards, an ESG Awards 2026 finalist nod for Employee Well-Being, and Alexandra Retegan as a Product Leader of 2025 finalist. Thank you to every partner, collaborator, and community member who showed up alongside us this quarter!

As we step into Q2, we're carrying that same momentum forward and asking for two clicks of your support before April 16:
