Diversity Role Model of the Year | Advancing to the Global Finals in Malta

Georgina Lupu Florian, Founder & Co-CEO of Wolfpack Digital, has been named Regional Winner - Eastern Europe in the Diversity Role Model of the Year category at the Global Startup Awards.

This recognition officially places Georgina among the region’s standout leaders and advances her to the Global Finals in Malta, where regional winners from around the world will compete for the global title.

“First of all, the very existence of this category is an affirmation of the importance of diversity in entrepreneurial ecosystems and of the role diversity plays in building a better future for humanity.

Secondly, having the honour of representing Romania and Eastern Europe in the global GSA competition, as the regional winner in this category, is a recognition of the efforts I have made over the past years to cultivate self-confidence and a positive mindset within the communities I work with, while supporting genuine equality of opportunity and the courage to dare and to learn, for everyone.

This news brings me even greater joy as, in the previous edition, I reached the finals in Istanbul in the Ecosystem Hero of the Year category, after winning the Central European Startup Awards. This new achievement motivates me to continue my work in supporting startup ecosystems where competition, collaboration, and diversity coexist.” said Georgina.

The Global Startup Awards celebrate founders, leaders, and organisations shaping the future of innovation worldwide. Regional winners are selected by an expert jury drawn from 154 countries, spotlighting leaders whose work creates measurable impact within their communities and beyond.

As Eastern Europe’s Diversity Role Model of the Year, Georgina will represent the region on the global stage at the Global Grand Finale in Malta, alongside finalists from Africa, Asia, the Nordics, the Middle East, and more.

With a multidisciplinary background in engineering, psychology, creative industries and management, Georgina Lupu Florian is the co-CEO & Founder of Wolfpack Digital, an award-winning digital product development agency building web and mobile apps start-to-end for clients in healthtech, finance, greentech IoT, beautytech, transportation, etc.
